Sometimes our feelings can overcome us to the point they feel intolerable. I help children, teens, and young adults navigate and care for the hurt that can come with anxiety, depression, feelings of isolation, and non-belonging. I am trained in and passionate about working with trauma, grief, neurodevelopmental differences, self-esteem/body issues, and LGBTQ+ identities. My clients have described my clinical style as warm, open, and relaxed. In sessions, we will often incorporate narrative therapy, art, mindfulness, and movement. I received my master’s in social work from Loyola University Chicago and have worked in schools, private practice, and community health settings. I am certified in the Neurosequential Model of Trauma Treatment and have trained in Theraplay, somatic, and psychodynamic therapy models.
