I wish that worry (and sadness, depression, trauma, stress, anxiety) were so easy to give up. For most of us however, these feelings can become consuming and difficult to manage, impacting our sense of selves, our goals in life and our relationships. Using a strengths based, non-judgmental, relational approach, my goal is to help you to find concrete tools to reduce stressors and begin to work together to explore the ways in which your past experiences and inner beliefs are getting in the way of having the quality of life and relationships you want. I have been working as a therapist supporting teens, families and adults since 2013. My advanced trainings focus on evidence-based therapeutic modalities designed to address trauma and enhance emotional and psychological resilience. Areas of Interest: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Parenting, Life Changes Advanced Trainings: AIR Network (Adaptive Internal Relational), EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), TF-CBT (Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), EFT (Emotionally Focused Therapy) Education: Bachelor of Science in Child Psychology from University of Minnesota Twin Cities; Master of Social Work from Augsburg College. Licensing: Licensed Clinical Social Worker with the Minnesota Board of Social Work If you would like to set up a 15 minute consultation, please feel free to email me at sarahwilsonlicsw@gmail.com or call/text at (612) 327-0689. I accept private pay only; I can provide a Superbill upon request for any applicable out-of-network benefits you may have. Please contact your insurance company regarding out-of-network benefits. I am offering both telehealth and in person sessions. Poem by Mary Oliver
