I am a licensed psychotherapist, certified yoga therapist, and IFS (Internal Family Systems) therapist. I have found that integrating mind-body and spiritual practices into psychotherapy provides greater insight and deeper healing than talk therapy alone. I believe in your inherent wholeness and innate ability to heal. You are not broken and do not need to be fixed, but perhaps you need some help in finding a way, though tools, support, and guidance, to access your ability to love and heal yourself. I believe therapy is a collaboration and my role is as a guide who helps you find clarity and heal. I take a whole-person approach to therapy that includes the mind, body, and spirit. Rooted in yoga and mindfulness, this approach is flexible and is non-dogmatic. I offer an individualized combination of traditional talk therapies, IFS parts work, somatic therapies and therapeutic yoga, and spiritual practices such as mindfulness and self-compassion to help you create a deeper connection to your authentic Self and develop tools to overcome obstacles to whole being wellness. I specialize in treating anxiety disorders, identity questions, life transitions such as college & graduation, new jobs, marriage & divorce, and coping with aging parents. I also work with trauma. I love working with clients who have hit a wall in their professional or personal lives. They feel the need to slow down, change unhealthy patterns, and transform their lives. As a therapist I am warm and nonjudgmental and my practice is sex-positive, LGBTQA+, and poly friendly.
