I became an art therapist in 2016 after graduating from Nazareth College with my master's degree. I find great joy in hearing about people's life experiences, and helping them find ways of navigating the challenges they're facing. I am particularly dedicated to ensuring that my client's feel they can be themselves and live authentically as they face the intense and (let's be real) crazy feeling world we live in. Many people seem to feel that something is wrong within themselves, and I like to encourage people to see that it is often our situations or experiences that are negatively impacting us, rather than there being something inherently bad about ourselves. My therapy approaches are trauma focused and person centered, and I regularly work with people who come from backgrounds involving trauma or neurodivergence, which tends to cause people to feel "other" and unsure where to go for help. I offer an accepting and caring environment in which your true self is valued, and I hope to help you develop your own ability to see your value as well!
