I like to frame therapy as building your garden landscape. We take an inquisitive approach to looking at your ecosystem: at what you're working with, and subsequently what is working and what isn't. Through understanding your ecosystem, and the context of the larger ecosystem surrounding you (your loved ones, your lifestyle and interests, your work/career, the world at large), we can understand what types of support and interventions you may best benefit from. One of my favorite experiences as a therapist is hearing a client say "exactly!" It sounds a bit cheesy but at the heart of my work is just being able to be a safe space for everyone to be human, and to help them to carry more fully their humanity with them after our time together. I want to help you understand yourself better, and maybe make more sense out of the world around you, too. I want to help you feel empowered to live a life that is safe, supportive to your health, and full.
