My name is Sarah McCauley. I'm an Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Minnesota who focuses primarily on working with individuals, couples, and families through significant life changes, stressors, traumas, and grief. My training was done at St Mary's University School of Graduate and Professional Psychology in Marriage and Family Therapy, and I have worked in the field of counseling since 2017. "An abnormal response to an abnormal stimuli is a normal response" Viktor Frankl. I have worked in a wide variety of settings to advocate for and collaborate with individuals navigating health concerns, both mental or physical. My approach to therapy is collaborative and seeks to find solutions and coping skills alongside you. My work and worldview are informed through the systems we are informed by, and it is important to maintain curiosity as we pursue hope and understanding of self and the world around us. "Hope has two beautiful daughters: Anger and Courage. Anger at the way things are, and Courage that they do not remain the same" St Augustine of Hippo. As part of your care team, my role is to inform, build skills and understanding, and create a space for every voice to be heard. Your story has many chapters, and it is a privilege to navigate it with you.
