Welcome! I am a licensed clinical psychologist in the Commonwealth of Virginia. A little bit about therapy with me: I strive to provide a space for my clients to share their authentic selves. I believe feeling understood and accepted as a whole person is one of the most healing aspects of psychotherapy. Through a collaborative and trusting relationship, I aim to provide holistic care and treatment which is tailored to each individual or couple's needs and goals. I have experience treating clients who have a variety of presenting concerns and diagnoses including: anxiety, depression, bipolar, AD/HD, life transitions, and identity and relationship challenges. My primary goal is to guide you towards your vision of a full and meaningful life! A little bit about my training and experience: I received my doctoral degree in Counseling Psychology and Masters of Science in Clinical and Counseling Psychology from Radford University. I also have a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Clemson University. During my graduate training, much of my clinical work, research, and extracurricular engagement reflected my strong value of cultural diversity and social justice. Understanding the various cultural identities of my clients allows me the opportunity to provide more holistic and attuned treatment. I have experience working with folks from a variety of cultural backgrounds, ages, and presenting concerns. I have provided psychotherapy in university counseling centers, private practice, psychiatric hospitals, and community mental health clinics. I am a member of the National Register of Health Service Psychologists and the Virginia Academy of Clinical Psychologists. It is your right to ask questions about my training and experience at any point during your treatment and I welcome these conversations.
