Sarah Gerrish is a graduate of the University of Saint Joseph’s Clinical Mental Health Counseling program. She has been working in healthcare in various roles with adults and seniors since 2015 and has recently been working with individuals across the lifespan who are survivors of victimized crime. Her diverse experience lends itself to working with individuals/couples who have a history of various diagnoses including PTSD, anxiety, depression, ADHD and substance use. Sarah’s approach is trauma-informed, warm, and human-centered. She uses a combination of interventions drawn mostly from CBT and IFS with an emphasis on mindfulness-based approaches. Sarah is passionate about advocating for marginalized communities and aspires to obtain her sex therapy certification. She would be a great fit for anyone seeking a genuine therapist to support relationship navigation, life transitions or in exploring concerns about gender and sexuality.
