I specialize in working with individuals and couples in their 20s and 30s who want to gain a deeper understanding of the impacts of childhood experiences. A special welcome to 2nd and 3rd-generation Korean-Americans working through generational trauma, the generational/cultural gap, parent/adult child relationships, and family relationships. I also enjoy working with women in ministry. During our sessions, we can discuss a wide range of topics, including but not limited to the following: - Managing anxiety - Establishing healthy boundaries - Dealing with burnout - Dealing with difficulties in regulating emotions - Overcoming feelings of loneliness - Learning effective stress management skills - Navigating motherhood and personal growth For couples, I provide support with: - Improving communication - Conflict resolution - Premarital assessments (SYMBIS) Currently, I only provide online therapy for clients located in California. I am out-of-network, which means I don't directly bill insurance. However, I can provide a super-bill invoice after your sessions. Before starting therapy, please reach out to your insurance provider to discuss the potential for reimbursement for seeing an out-of-network therapist. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and I completed my Master's Degree at Western Seminary, San Jose. My B.A. is in Communications from the University of California, San Diego. I am bilingual in Korean and English. I have received training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) from the LOVAAS Institute and also in the Process Therapy Model from the Process Therapy Institute. Additionally, I am certified in SYMBIS (Saving Your Marriage Before It Starts) assessment for premarital couples.
