Hi, My name is Sarah and I am a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner (PLMHP) and provisionally licensed certified master social worker (PCMSW) in Nebraska. I started Adolescent Ally Therapy after working as a high school special education teacher and seeing how great of a need there is for mental health services inside of schools. Parents and caretakers are busy and when their child is struggling with their mental health it adds to their plate in a big way. By providing services in school, I am able to eliminate the hassle of getting to another appointment because I am where your kid already is. By meeting with adolescents in schools I am in a space they are familiar with making them more comfortable. I am also able to more easily collaborate with their teachers or other school personnel to help get to the core of what is going on in their day to day life and work jointly with them to plan a way towards improvement.
