Introduction

Welcome to Milwaukee Mental Health and Consulting Compassionate, Specialized Care for Life’s Most Complex Challenges At Milwaukee Mental Health and Consulting, we understand that life doesn’t always follow a clear path. Whether you’re navigating trauma, grief, infertility, postpartum transitions, relationship challenges, or other personal struggles, you deserve support that is both evidence-based and deeply attuned to your unique story. I’m Sarah Benitez-Zandi, LCSW. With licensure in multiple states, advanced training in EMDR, and a commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive care, I specialize in working with individuals and couples (traditional and non-traditional) who are ready to work through the hard stuff—and grow in the process. I also provide thorough evaluations and letters for Emotional Support Animals (ESA) and Psychiatric Service Dogs (PSD), ensuring compliance with federal and state guidelines. These assessments are conducted with clinical integrity and an understanding of how deeply human-animal bonds can support healing. While I bring a structured, clinical approach to my work, I also believe in showing up as a real person—one who understands the value of safe spaces, shared humanity, and the occasional nerdy reference. Therapy with me is collaborative, respectful, and always tailored to your specific goals. If you’re ready to begin your next chapter with a therapist who’s both highly trained and genuinely invested in your well-being, I invite you to explore the services offered and reach out when you're ready. ART combines eye movements with guided visualization to help the brain reprocess painful experiences in a safe, structured way. Many clients find relief in just a few sessions. It’s especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, grief, and phobias. Want to learn more?
