Sarah Allee is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) who earned her Bachelor of Social Work from Southeastern Louisiana University in 2021 and her Master of Social Work from Louisiana State University in 2023. Since graduate school, Sarah has worked as a behavioral health therapist in Prairieville, Louisiana and is actively working towards her licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). She is particularly passionate about working with children, adolescents, and adult females. Her dedication to youth counseling stems from her personal experiences with therapy during her own upbringing, inspiring her mission to help others find their voice. Sarah emphasizes, "Children are our future. They are not innately equipped with the tools to self-regulate, so we need to support them in navigating intense emotions. Otherwise, they may grow into dysregulated adults with more complex issues." Sarah employs a range of evidence-based treatment modalities in her practice, including Play Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT). By utilizing an integrative approach, she ensures that her clients receive high-quality clinical care along with the tools necessary for achieving optimal emotional wellness throughout their lives. Her personal goal is to create a safe, compassionate, supportive, and confidential environment that respects each client's unique developmental stage. She values collaboration with her clients to help them explore their emotions, set personal goals, and address various challenges, including disorders of attachment, self-esteem issues, interpersonal issues, anger management, depression, anxiety, bereavement, trauma, and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Sarah believes that the counseling relationship is a crucial element of successful therapy, as it fosters a natural connection. Sarah is a practicing Catholic. She grew up in a large family with five siblings, with whom she maintains a close relationship. In her free time, she enjoys traveling to new places, participating in mission trips, spending quality time with her son and family, cooking, enjoying the outdoors, and both viewing and creating art.
