I spent the first decade of my career as a journalist in New York City, telling the stories of marginalized populations and gaining the attention of those in power to affect positive societal change. I followed this path to the New York State government, where I focused on public transportation advancements to help improve the lives of millions of commuters each day. I then decided to continue my passion to help others in a new way, earning a Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Montclair State University. I trained as a clinician at a group private practice in New Jersey, guiding clients in their journeys to alleviate suffering from depression, anxiety, PTSD, CPTSD, ADHD, OCD, body image issues, and grief. I am an avid practitioner of yoga and meditation, and bring these modalities into my healing work. I now see counseling clients at Impact Health Counseling in Denville and Mount Arlington, New Jersey, as well as online via telehealth. There, I help clients process trauma and life's difficulties, while assisting them on a path toward reaching their goals. If you'd like to work together, please reach out to schedule a (free!) 10-minute consultation to see if I am the right therapist for you :)
