MY PRACTICE Today you are one step closer to a new you where you feel empowered and on a positive path to growth and well-being. I am a licensed psychologist practicing in Durham, NC. I am also a Psychology Ininterjurisdictional Compact (PSYPACT) provider, allowing me to conduct telehealth sessions with individuals in 39 of the 50 states. I provide psychotherapy services to adults, adolescents, and couples presenting with a variety of problems and concerns including eating disorders, trauma, depression, anxiety, relationship issues and grief. In addition, I have extensive experience working in medical settings with individuals experiencing various health conditions and/or injuries. I believe that all humans have the desire and ability to be happy and fulfilled. Towards this goal, I assist individuals in developing a deeper understanding of themselves, the relationship between their thoughts and behaviors, and in finding more effective answers to new or reoccurring problems. My therapeutic style is warm, non-judgmental and relational. I use the latest evidenced-based techniques, which are custom tailored to each individual and include the following: • Interpersonal/Client-Focused Therapy • Internal Family Systems Therapy (IFS) • Cognitive-Behavior Therapy (CBT) • Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) • Dialectical-Behavior Therapy (DBT) If you are seeking psychotherapy, you've already engaged your capacity for self-care and your aspiration for greater success in work, relationships, health and self-fulfillment. It is my hope that our work together will shift habitual patterns, open new possibilities and provide you with greater fulfillment in life. I look forward to meeting you and accompanying you along your journey.
