Hello. My name is Sara (she/her). I'm an art therapist practicing for over 25 years. I utilize verbal and somatic therapies with patients, meaning we can speak about your experiences and also look at how your mental health is affecting you physically. We also explore how your body is carefully sending you signals in order to help you know what is happening emotionally. In our work together we note the connections in order to help increase your awareness and create self acceptance and interventions to increase coping and decrease stress and anxiety. Art activities can help you gain insight and/or relieve stress and bring calm and greater connection to your more grounded state (no art experience required!).
