Introduction

A Sparrow's Journey Counseling is located in Denver, NC. Our approach to counseling is to create an environment where clients are unconditionally accepted so they can explore thoughts, concerns and life challenges. We believe that each individual is unique; therefore, our approach will be based on our assessment of your individual needs. We can aide clients in developing a plan to identify issues, develop strengths and coping strategies thus creating positive changes towards a productive and meaningful life. Sara is a board certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Education at Marietta College and a Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Lenoir Rhyne University. Sara has worked with clients of all ages from school aged children to adults. Her experience includes working with individuals dealing with: anxiety, depression, stress, adjustment/transition, grief and loss, time management, relationships, family conflict, self-esteem and work-related issues. Sara enjoys working with children on the Autism Spectrum and their parents to establish appropriate social skills.
