Life can be difficult, but that doesn't mean it can't be rewarding and fulfilling. I am here to help you navigate the journey you are on. Welcome and congrats on making the decision to seek therapy and create a more fulfilling life. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Colorado with over 3 years of experience. Don’t let that number fool you though! I have experience working with a diverse range of clients in different clinical settings with a multitude of presenting issues such as depression, anxiety, trauma, self-esteem, PTSD, borderline personality disorder, and addiction. I have experience in individual and group therapy and have worked in clinical settings such as inpatient/detox facilities, homeless shelters, and outpatient services. My journey to get where I am today actually started around 2011 when I became a sexual assault prevention and response advocate while in the Air Force. In 2014, I changed my bachelor's program from Occupational Safety and Health to Human Services. I finished my bachelors and started my graduate program that next day leading to my graduation from Colorado Christian University in 2019 with a MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. My approach to therapy is eclectic and draws on a variety of modalities to best serve a client’s needs and goals. The modalities I often utilize are: Adlerian Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Mindfulness-based Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, Existential Therapy. I come from a humanistic, goal-oriented, and psychodynamic style that looks at the whole person. Each of us are unique individuals with different values, strengths, morals, and beliefs, and I walk alongside clients as they discover what makes them, them. I have always had a heart to serve others. Receiving therapy can be a difficult process, but it is also incredibly rewarding. I look forward to walking alongside you in your journey.
