Sometimes we are burdened with unwanted experiences and emotions that get in the way of what we find important in our lives. We can be blinded by doubt, worry, shame, and stress to a point that we forget what matters most to us. This keeps us from moving forward. Counseling can help remove these road blocks, and although it can be intimidating, it is up to you to take that leap. Working with me will provide insight on your own strengths and values and finding what it means to live authentically and aligned with what you value most. You may be challenged at times, but I find that a good challenge is worth it for valuable change. I have experience working in community-based clinics and have worked with clients struggling with depression, anxiety, trauma related stressors, borderline personality disorder, and social issues pertaining to race and ethnicity, sexuality, and gender identity. You have been working tirelessly to push forward on your own. Allow me to help you push forward. I understand that counseling can seem scary, but that initial thought of "maybe I should see a counselor" is only the first step. When change is calling out to you, seek it out!
