I am a full professor in a graduate program for Counselor Education. My professional career, both clinical and research, has always focused on substance use. My practice supports people who are concerned about their use or their recovery from use, but is nontraditional in many ways. I believe you have the right to self-determination as to whether or not you want to be abstinent from use. I recognize many people can transition from problematic to non-problematic use. I am here to help you meet your goals, and to stay safe in the process. I also support family members of people who use drugs who feel powerless and seek guidance.
