Introduction

I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in the State of Georgia with over 8 years of counseling experience. Throughout my career I’ve worked with individuals across various populations providing mental health counseling, career counseling, mentor-ship, and life coaching services. I have worked in a variety of settings to include residential group homes, outpatient mental health, inpatient mental health, and community based counseling. I specialize in working with clients coping with depression, anxiety, relationship issues, anger management, trauma, and individuals of the LGBT community who are seeking a safe space. I also have experience working with Veterans and Active Duty Serviceman. My counseling style is warm and engaging. I believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect. My approach combines cognitive behavioral, Reality Therapy, and solution focused therapy. I believe that the treatment plan and focus should be client centered and client driven. The therapy goals that you set will serve as a road map of our time together and I will assist you with identifying active steps that you can take to actualize your goals. I also check in regularly to ensure that you are making progress towards the goals that we set. I am also very passionate about self-care and I believe that it is a critical part of sound mental wellness. It takes great courage to seek help and take the first steps towards making a change. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you. I look forward to working with you!
