Introduction

Obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and emetophobia are bullies, heightening your anxiety and distress. The thoughts, images, and feelings you experience inside the story they've told don’t align with who you are and what you want. To calm the intense anxiety and discomfort you experience, you engage in behaviors, rituals, or mental review. The strategies that once helped provide a sense of relief and peace, are becoming a barrier to the things you enjoy. This doesn’t mean you’re stuck. With therapy and time, you can learn how to navigate your the discomfort and anxiety you experience. My specialties include obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), phobias including emetophobia and agoraphobia, and anxiety disorders. I am trained in exposure and response/ritual prevention (ERP), ComB, habit reversal therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT). Taking this first step, asking for help, may be overwhelming. This first step, however, is an empowering step. You are embarking on a journey of self-discovery and growth. I look forward to taking that next step with you. Please call or email to schedule a free 15-minute, no obligation conversation to see if we would be a good fit.
