I have a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and currently working towards my Doctorate of Psychology (PsyD), being a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas. Since I began studying Psychology, I felt the call to continue learning in order to help my community, reason why I ended also studying Sociology and graduating with two full Bachelor of Arts degrees in Psychology and Sociology. I have continued to refine my skills and education, earning certifications as a National Certified Counselor (NCC), Registered Play Therapist (RPT), Certified Autism Specialist (CAS) and as a Certified Clinical Telemental Health Provider (CTMH). I am fluent in English and Spanish and proficient in Portuguese and Italian. My therapeutic style uses a totally NON-judgemental approach, helping clients with physical, emotional and mental health issues improving their sense of well‐being, alleviating feelings of distress and resolve crises. I provide services to children, adolescents, adults, couples and families, specializing in issues of depression, trauma, anger management and behavioral issues, grief, PTSD, self-esteem, self-harm and suicidal ideations, teen violence, and women’s health issues, as well as programs for the prevention and support for victims of domestic and sexual violence. You’re not alone… I will help you through it!
