Introduction

I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (MFC 42628) with undergraduate education from Tulane University in Psychology and Sociology, and graduate education from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology, Chicago in Psychology. I have been practicing in the field with adults, children and families for over 20 years. I have had the opportunity to work with many diverse ages, cultures and ethnic backgrounds. My clinical experiences have included work with adults, children and families experiencing trauma, involvement with the foster care system and the criminal justice system. During my career, I have had the opportunity to be trained and/or certified in various Evidence Based Practices (EBPs) such as Child Parent Psychotherapy, Incredible Years Baby, Crisis Oriented Recovery Services, Seeking Safety and Managing & Adapting Practice. I have provided Individual and Group Clinical Supervision to clinicians gaining their hours towards licensure in the state of California for over 10 years. In addition, I have held positions such as Clinical Supervisor, Program Coordinator, Clinical Manager and Child Parent Psychotherapy Lead/Champion. I believe that the lens that we view the world through is an extremely important component of treatment. I provide both office based and field based services such as in the home.
