Samantha has graduated from Lamar University with a Master’s in Mental Health Counseling. She is currently an LPC Associate supervised by Ashley Buckmore. She has assisted children and their families with social, emotional, and behavioral challenges. She has experience working with young children to adolescents with Anxiety, ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder and Trauma. Her focus is creating a non-judgemental and comfortable space for people to open up and work through sensitive issues. She believes in personal growth and holding clients accountable to work towards their goals. Samantha approaches therapy from an Adlerian and Child-Centered perspective, utilizing techniques such as elements of play and sand tray therapy. She utilizes these techniques as a way to work through issues creatively as well as a way to communicate. Samantha is available during the evenings and weekends.
