Samantha is deeply committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based mental health support to individuals, couples, and families. With a warm and collaborative approach, she helps clients navigate a range of challenges, including trauma, first-generation stressors, family planning and infertility, ADHD and autism, and co-parenting dynamics. Her goal is to create a supportive space where clients feel empowered to explore their emotions, build stronger relationships, and develop practical strategies for personal growth. As a therapist with advanced training in Gottman Institute Levels 1 & 2 and ongoing certification in Prepare/Enrich, Samantha takes a trauma-informed, attachment-based approach to therapy. She believes that healing happens in relationships—whether between partners, parents and children, or within extended family systems. By integrating motivational interviewing, play therapy, developmental psychology, and structured assessment tools, she tailors each session to meet the unique needs of her clients. Samantha has extensive experience leading workshops and therapeutic groups, helping clients build skills in communication, emotional regulation, and conflict resolution. She has a particular passion for supporting multicultural families, first- and second-generation immigrants, and diverse communities, recognizing the unique challenges they may face when balancing cultural identity, family expectations, and personal well-being. Being fluent in Mandarin, Taiwanese, and English, Samantha provides culturally responsive therapy, ensuring that language and cultural context are seamlessly integrated into her work. She understands that mental health support should be accessible and affirming, making it a priority to create a safe, inclusive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel truly understood. At the core of Samantha’s practice is a deep belief in resilience, growth, and the power of meaningful connections. She is committed to walking alongside her clients as they navigate life’s transitions, strengthen their relationships, and build confidence in themselves. If you're ready to take the next step in your journey, Samantha is here to support you with empathy, expertise, and a personalized approach to care.
