I am a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) and member of the International OCD Foundation. I am a goal oriented therapist committed to supporting my clients as they develop a life that has meaning and purpose and is driven by their values. I take a neuro-scientific and person centered approach working with those managing symptoms related to OCD, phobias, and other anxiety related issues. I also enjoy supporting those going through life transitions, divorce, healing from trauma, and women’s health issues. My work focuses on helping individuals gain a new perspective, where they feel empowered to navigate life stressors with confidence, compassion, and inner peace. I believe in taking a collaborative approach to the therapy relationship where we work as partners taking time to understand how the brain works, identify patterns, and create a treatment plan to promote coping and support goal achievement. I like to infuse the counseling process with creativity and humor providing both practical and emotional feedback. As a client, you will receive clinically tested and evidenced-based interventions to help you meet your goals. I have over a decade of experience using cognitive behavioral strategies (CBT, REBT, narrative therapy), acceptance based behavioral therapies (ACT, DBT, and mindfulness), and I specialize in Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP).
