Hi, I’m Samantha Dedic, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) deeply committed to helping individuals navigate life’s challenges and cultivate meaningful well-being. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Dominican University (2014) and a Master’s in Social Work from Aurora University (2017). I’m also a licensed clinical social worker (License #149.021402). With over eight years of experience, I specialize in treating Eating Disorders, OCD, and Complex Anxiety, with extensive work in hospital settings, Partial Hospitalization Programs (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP), and outpatient care. I take a person-centered, strengths-based approach, combining warmth, directness, and collaboration. My goal is to create a safe, non-judgmental space where you feel truly heard, understood, and empowered in your journey of self-discovery and healing. I’m passionate about building a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship and working alongside you to identify your strengths and develop practical coping strategies. I use evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), and strength-based techniques, tailoring each session to meet your unique needs. Whether you're navigating an eating disorder, OCD, complex anxiety, life transitions, depression, relationship issues, or simply seeking personal growth, my approach is designed to help you feel more in control, at peace, and aligned with the life you envision. Growth is always possible, and together, we’ll work toward helping you lead the life you desire.
