Introduction

I am very passionate about my work with my clients. My goal as a therapist is to support and encourage them to help them help themselves be the better self they have wanted to be. I truly believe that the therapeutic relationship allows others to learn to focus on themselves and finally learn how to be themselves knowing that the other person with them (the therapist) is not going to judge them for who they are, what they do, what they think, or what they say. I strive to make the therapeutic session as comfortable as possible for my clients to be who they need to be. I have worked with children, adolescents, and adults. I enjoy working with all populations. I am trained in TF-CBT to aid those with traumatic backgrounds, but I also focus on DBT, CBT, ACT, family, etc. I tend to go with the flow, depending on the needs of my client.
