Samantha Wurst, MA, LPC, CCATP, CMIP is a Licensed Professional Counselor in New Jersey who brings warmth, humor, and clinical expertise to her work with clients. With over six years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults, Sam specializes in helping individuals navigate anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and life transitions. Sam holds a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and a Bachelor’s degree from Stockton University. She is also a Clinically Certified Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP) and a Certified Mindfulness-Informed Professional (CMIP). Her therapeutic style is flexible and collaborative, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and mindfulness practices to create an individualized path toward growth and healing. Known for her down-to-earth presence, Sam is often described by clients as approachable, non-judgmental, and relatable. She believes therapy should feel both effective and human, often weaving in humor as a way to build connection and foster healing. Outside the therapy room, Sam enjoys beach days, live music, and cooking with her family. She lives in South Jersey with her loved ones (both human and furry) and also serves as the Director of Operations at her group practice, where she helps guide the organization with compassion and integrity. Sam currently sees clients from late adolescence through middle adulthood.
