Hello! My name is Sam, and I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor Associate (LMHCA) who is currently open for new in-person and virtual clients in Indiana. Whether it’s the fear of not being good enough, dealing with short or long-term obstacles, or struggling to find balance in your life - I am here to listen and help. My approach to therapy is open and creative, so that we can work together in a way that best fits you. I specialize in working with artists, athletes, and performers at all levels to develop coping skills, obtain and maintain work-life balance, or navigate temporary or permanent setbacks. Additionally, I work with clients who are neurodivergent trying to navigate a neurotypical society, struggling with anxiety, or trying to find themself behind their mask. I typically work with older teens (16+) and adults. I’m an LGBTQIA+ friendly provider. My main counseling theories include Adlerian, Narrative, and DBT. On occasion, I utilize creative outlets in sessions, such as crochet, art (mainly drawing, coloring, and painting), and gaming (including board games, tabletop roleplaying, and computer games).
