Sally Sanchez is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) with over 10 years' experience in the field of mental health. Sally has worked in psychiatric mental health rehabilitation, community based mental health, community based youth mentoring, and in one to one counseling. Sally specializes in working with individuals with anxiety, depression, trauma, family/interpersonal relationship issues, among other needs. Sally work collaboratively towards clients' goals and towards increasing their awareness, coping skills, and improving management of their thought and behavior patterns. My approach to therapy is to meet people where they are and to invite them to come as they are. Using a person-centered, nonjudgmental and collaborative approach, I primarily utilize psychodynamic, positive psychology, and ACT techniques, but will draw on other approaches as needed to meet the client’s unique needs. You deserve a brave and safe space where you can explore your authentic self and what that means for you. In working with me, you'll find a balance of warm accountability and actionable steps you can take to achieve your own desired outcomes.
