Introduction

Licensed Professional Counselor in Portland, Oregon. I have a Master's Degree in Counseling with a secondary masters degree with a focus in Art Therapy from Antioch University, Santa Barbara CA. My focus was on family systems and Addiction Medicine throughout graduate school. I've been practicing therapy for over 35 years and love working with individual adults who are wanting a change, may feel stuck, traumatized or challenged by life's many paths or are in recovery. I worked for many years in large inpatient and outpatient settings with specialties in Addiction Medicine and experiential expressive therapies. I provided direct supervision and management to other licensees and interns while working with adolescents and adults in groups and individually. I have a client centered and strength based approach meeting you where you're at and help you find your truth and how you want to live. I integrate multiple modalities in my work; cognitive behavioral, mindfulness, experiential, expressive vistual therapy, psychodynamic and am IFS Informed (Internal Family Systems)with an eye on becoming certified. I believe that we are mind, body and spirit. In my free time I'm a watercolorist, designer and gardener, jeweler and cook, love taking strolls and walks through so many beautiful areas in our state. I bring creativity into my practice helping you tap into yours even when you don't think you're creative at all. I offer counseling to other creatives, professionals, younger adults, elders and other adults interested in exploring what might be getting in their way. Change is Possible!
