Introduction

Great to meet you! Thanks for visiting this site. You're about to make a huge step in your wellness journey. What are you curious about and may I help with some of your questions? A bit about me and my approach to therapy: I serve individuals, multi-partnered relationships, and couples seeking support in their mental and emotional wellness while living and navigating the intersectional spaces of their cultural identity, family and social connections, racial identity, sexual identity and orientation, faith, and politics of their lived environment. I treat a number of mental and emotional distresses, including burnout, complex trauma, moral distress, and moral injury. We can explore the juncture of morals, values, spirituality, and mental and emotional health together. I offer effective individualized mental and emotional care through a blended, eclectic approach. What you can expect from our first session: In our first session, I'd like to get to know you and to hear what you want out of therapy. From there, we will develop goals and a plan to help you achieve your goals. I encourage open curiosity in our work together and will invite you to reflect in between sessions and may even give you homework from time to time. I hold a safe, calm, and non-judgmental space in which we will do some of the most challenging, vulnerable, and rewarding work together. Taking steps to find your way can be hard, which is why I offer online sessions and evening and Saturday appointments. Call or email to schedule a free 15-minute consultation. Insurance and Fees: I currently accept Aetna, Premera Blue Cross Washington, Regence BlueShield of Washington, United Healthcare, and Ambetter through Headway. If you would like to explore using your insurance plan, see more details here: https://headway.co/providers/sally-kim I do not accept Medicaid, Kaiser, or Medicare plans at this time.
