I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Registered Art Therapist. I obtained my B.A in Human Development/Social Justice and my M.A in Psychology/Art Therapy. I have been practicing since 2016, starting in community mental health, where I worked with a range of populations within socioeconomically disadvantaged communities. I decided to start my own private practice, Blended Colors Therapy, where I could continue to utilize my experiences to assist those understand their intersecting identities, multi-generational stuff, and to develop their voice and have the power of choice. My perspective and beliefs have been shaped by my own bi-racial/multi-cultural background that did not allow me to fit neatly into a box (although I’ve tried!). My passion lies with those whose experiences mirror my own on some level, which is why I love working with the BIPOC community. I continue to learn from those I work with, what it means to be a human navigating this complex world we live in, and pass my understanding on to the next.
