Saane is a compassionate and grounded Clinical Social Worker (CSW) who brings a deep understanding of intersectionality to her therapeutic practice. As a Pacific Islander woman of color from the Bay Area, she draws from both lived experience and professional training to support individuals navigating complex identities and life challenges. Saane earned her Master of Social Work (MSW) from the University of Utah, and her clinical work has centered around providing affirming, trauma-informed care to neurodivergent youth, LGBTQIA+ adults, incarcerated survivors of sexual assault, and BIPOC clients. She is deeply committed to fostering healing spaces where clients feel seen, empowered, and safe. Saane’s approach is relational, culturally attuned, and rooted in empathy. She has worked extensively with individuals experiencing grief and loss, anxiety, depression, PTSD, and complex trauma. Her clinical experience also includes supporting older adults with dementia, including Alzheimer's, and helping families navigate the emotional impacts of cognitive decline. With an unwavering belief in the resilience of her clients, Saane creates therapeutic alliances that honor each person’s unique story and strengths, particularly within queer, BIPOC, and other historically marginalized communities.
