Introduction
Navigating life's various stressors, challenges and transitions can be difficult at times. Together we can identify and explore your thoughts, emotions, communication styles and coping skills in an effort to facilitate positive change. I graduated from The Ohio State University with a Master's of Social Work, and have over fifteen years' experience providing individual counseling to adults in a private practice setting. I also have experience working with young adults and their parents/caregivers in a hospital setting. I enjoy working with individuals of all abilities, and have experience working with adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities, including autism, as well as with their caregivers. I utilize a client centered, strength based approach to counseling employing multiple modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing and compassion focused therapy. It is a privilege to guide and support clients towards achieving an increased sense of emotional well-being.
