Hello! My name is Ryan Scimeca. I earned my Bachelors of Science in Psychology from Excelsior College and my Masters Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University. I have a background in teaching children ages 2 through 12 as well as working in various healthcare settings. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families (Ages 6+). For my clinical approach, I am eclectic, meaning I pull from various theories to best meet the unique needs of each client. Having a strong therapeutic alliance is critical in my approach. It is also important to me that you are in the driver’s seat during our sessions, that you feel supported and validated, and are acknowledged as the expert in your own life story.
