I believe in the message that you can plant seeds of change. For me it means that the actions we make can impact others. These actions can start by just being open and willing to listen, allowing for someone to be authentic with no concerns of judgment that hinder their growth. I’m here to support and see people succeed. Originally a Jersey Girl I graduated from Montclair State University with my bachelor’s in psychology and later graduated from Rutgers University with my master’s in social work. I have many years of experience working with the Latino/a/x population navigating resources and addressing generational and cultural stigmas and trauma. I have also worked with children and teenagers ages-3-18 who have experienced bullying, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief, developmental disabilities, homelessness and more. I have also worked with adults enduring homelessness, mental health, PTSD, and Domestic Violence. My years in the field have made me aware of different issues that anyone can face in different stages of their life. I’m excited to be part of this practice as the mission to help individuals live the life, they want is a motto that I strive myself to live by. The life we want does not come without challenges but having the right support to encourage you can make the difference in achieving it. Some fun facts about me. I recently relocated to Florida because it was always a dream of mine to live in a place where I can bask in the sun and enjoy going to the ocean as often as I want. Outside of work I enjoy meditating, cooking, trying new foods, working out, dancing, and reading. I am an aspiring artist (paintings specifically), I am a cat mom to two very adorable crazy cats named Messi and Daisy, fiancé to a hardworking man, daughter of parents who migrated from Peru, and sister of Military Veterans. I come from a very large, blended family and can understand the complexities of blended family dynamics. My family was my biggest support and inspiration to pursue this field. I hope to one day give back to my community and help them find a path filled with opportunities and fulfillment.
