ROYD WHITE, MSW, CSW If a relationship has experienced trauma or severe stress, the individuals involved may feel their life is unraveling, pulling them into depression and anxiety. As a compassionate therapist with genuine concern for my clients, I work to promote human relationships grounded in mutuality, respect, and consideration. As clients develop healthy perceptions of themselves and find personal dignity and value, they can more fully emotionally invest in their relationships. My education, my age, and my life experiences both good and bad, provide me with a unique perspective on assisting others. I feel it is important to work within an individual’s belief system and values, in order to move forward and promote growth. I have helped mend numerous marriages, and assisted many individuals with communication, conflict, and emotional disconnection. I do not consider myself the expert. My clients are the experts. Experiences and personalities for each individual are varied, and no single approach is the right one. I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Mind-Body Bridging, and a client-centered strength based approach. My style is supportive, collaborative, and compassionate. Together we can develop meaningful goals that will produce positive results.
