Introduction

Ronnie Brooks received her bachelor's in psychology from, California State University of San Marcos and master’s in clinical psychology with a specialization in applied behavior analysis and consumer psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Los Angeles. Ronnie specializes in Behavioral Therapy supporting individuals and families through principles of behavior, Acceptance Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness. Ronnie takes a collaborative approach to helping clients meet their goals. Her practice is person centered, highlighting individuals strengths to overcome challenges they face in life. She has extensive experience in social skills trainings and groups, addressing behavior management, life skills, vocational skills, performance management, parent/clinical guidance, training and support, social functioning, communication and interactions of pre-teens, teens and adults. In addition, she runs a bi-weekly social peer support group for teens called The Social, and dedicates her time to participating in community workshops, trainings and has a podcast focusing on ethical and social issues called The Reel Ethics. She is passionate about bridging the gap of services available to support marginalized communities and enhancing the social behaviors of children, teens, and adults.
