As a therapist, I enjoy helping others to achieve happiness and satisfaction within their personal and everyday lives. I provide clients with a safe environment to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors. Together clients and I establish and achieve their therapeutic goals. My counseling approach is Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), which is solution focused. Counseling sessions are geared towards helping clients gain insight and awareness to lead healthier lives. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor, Certified School Counselor, and Certified Math Teacher. I received my Bachelors degree in Mathematics at the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor and Masters in Counseling and Development at Texas Woman's University. I began my professional experience as a middle school and high school math teacher. I have 15 years of educational experience and have worked extensively in a variety of settings, including school districts and private practices.
