Introduction

I am a licensed marriage and family therapist specializing in addiction, anxiety, depression, trauma, couples therapy, grief and loss counseling, coaching, and career guidance. I am EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) trained and use Imaginal Nurturing with trauma-focused therapy. I bring a unique background and skill-set from my previous work in film and television. I combine solution-focused, narrative, emotion-focused, and attachment-based therapies in a manner tailored to clients’ needs. I believe therapy should be collaborative, client-centered, and build upon each person’s resilience, strength, and goals. My holistic framework provides insight, new perspectives, and the opportunity to make successful life adjustments. I am particularly interested in healing early attachment rupture and the fractured inner-child, as it can be crucial to happiness, self-realization, and personal growth. I believe authenticity and respect are essential to healthy results. Using a strength-based, forward-looking approach, I facilitate understanding, compromise, and communication with the ultimate aim that clients gain self-awareness, a sense of belonging, and enriched life satisfaction. I am LGBTQA+ affirming.
