Introduction

I'm glad you have found your way here. I have had the honor of working with people across the lifespan including adults, adolescents, and children for more than 22 years presenting with a range of personal struggles and circumstances. Many of the clients I have worked with struggled with anxiety, panic attacks, trauma, fears and phobias, overwhelming stress, attachment/relationship struggles, feelings of low self-worth/confidence, and ADHD. I strive to create a therapy space that is down-to-earth, active, non-judgemental and empowering with a dash of humor and heaps of insight. I am mindful of working at a pace that feels right to you and will always bear in mind the need for trust and safety at the center of our work together. I have heard from many clients that they appreciate my warmth and sense of humor and that they feel they can be themselves and open up in the therapy process leading them to explore new aspects of themselves while also focusing on specific target issues to resolve. The therapeutic practices I draw from are varied and include trauma-focused, active and empowering approaches: *EMDR *Somatic therapy *Mindfulness-based CBT *Self-compassion work *Acceptance and Commitment Therapy *Emotional Freedom Technique *The Flash Technique. When working with children *play and *sand tray therapy are utilized to assist children in gaining self-confidence, resolving emotional challenges, and overcoming distressing experiences. Part of working with children is to incorporate parents into the process through parent-guidance therapy and many parents have reported that they feel more confident in their parenting and have a closer relationship with their children after participating in the process. I truly believe we all can overcome our struggles and thrive in the life we wish to create. It would be a privilege to participate in a small piece of your story and I invite you to arrange a free 30-minute exploratory consultation to see if we are a good fit for your needs.
