Introduction

I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist currently serving children, adolescents, individuals, couples, and families in private practice in Reno, NV. I completed my Masters of Arts with a focus in Counseling and Educational Psychology/School Counseling (2006), and later added a focus in Marital, Couple, and Family Counseling (2015) from the University of Nevada-Reno. Before starting my full-time private practice in June of 2020, I was the school counselor at Jessie Beck Elementary School (2015-2020) and maintained a partial case load of diverse clients. Prior to my school counseling years, I coordinated advising, recruitment, and retention in the College of Business at the University of Nevada, Reno (2007-2015). My experience as a counselor in the Washoe County School District in particular allows me to support families as they effectively navigate school issues and processes.
