We change through relationships. For the past 30 years, I have provided treatment to individuals, couples and families struggling with the various challenges of life. I am trained in both traditional talk therapy (psychodynamic) and cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT, DBT, ACT) methods, which I integrate. I have found that the best way to help people is to listen carefully, work collaboratively, and tailor the approach to the person. Often, people need a combination of both insight and new skills in order to change what they can, accept what they can't change, connect with their values and authentic self, connect with others, overcome old fears and obstacles, achieve their goals, find meaning, let go of unnecessary suffering, and live more fully.
