Do you ever feel like you’re always there for everyone else but struggle to take care of yourself? Ever get a bit annoyed when you’re always checking in on others, but it feels like no one checks in on you? Do you find yourself procrastinating when it comes to following through on personal goals but when it comes to helping others or your job you have the ability to effortlessly multitask? You might be a people pleaser. I want to help you shift all that love and care you give to others and make sure you’re giving more of it to yourself. It’s overwhelming trying your best to be liked and loved by others who don’t always reciprocate. Many of us never really learned how to love ourselves, maybe we learned at a young age that love came with conditions, or those who raised us didn’t know how to love themselves so how could they teach you? Now you’re an adult who wants to love themselves more but don’t know how. My work focuses on helping people pleasers redirect their attention towards self-care, self-love, and pursuing their interests. I use a mix of clinical interventions, humor and just being my authentic self to guide you on how to prioritize your needs, set healthy boundaries, and achieve personal goals. I only provide telehealth services, so I don’t mind bonnets, durags, foam rollers, or nosey pets in session. My cat may make an appearance herself. You missed lunch and the session time is the only time you can have a snack? No problem, no good work was ever done while hungry.
