Introduction

My clients are ideally willing to explore the impact of early developmental influences and current life stressors that contribute to learned behavior patterns that may be ineffective and influence day-to-day suffering. I believe our life experiences influence us but do not have to define us or determine how we will function in the world. Additionally, we all have multiple identities, and we must learn to thrive in a world that is often ill-prepared to treat us with the respect and kindness we deserve. I understand the systemic obstacles often faced by people from diverse communities and seek to empower and support my clients. My goal for therapy is to help individuals feel heard and have their experiences validated while reducing emotional pain and improving coping resources. I help clients improve communication skills, increase their ability to develop and maintain healthy relationships and increase positive interactions with others. I seek to empower my clients to identify life goals and pursue them passionately with a well-organized plan. I am currently only seeing clients virtually (i.e., video or telephone) and am available for weekday, evening, and weekend sessions. Feel free to reach out for an introductory chat and see if we are a good fit.
