Introduction

Over the last 7 years I have specialized in working with adults in the LGBTQIA+ community and allies in private practice helping them overcome stress, anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, trauma, and many other life challenges that may have caused them to feel stuck. I emphasize a caring, collaborative, and holistic approach that will help encourage and guide you in your journey through life. Ultimately, it is my goal to provide a safe and encouraging therapeutic environment where you are able to discover your true self and find peace and tranquility. My therapeutic orientation is eclectic which means I use a variety of theoretical approaches and interventions that are evidence-based and tailored to meet your individual needs. I believe that we are all striving for social acceptance, belonging and purpose. I also believe that we all need encouragement and support to reach our goals, feel significant and be satisfied. The therapeutic approach I utilize is therefore a holistic and humanistic one that focuses on your mind, body and spirit. It is my passion to help others find peace and acquire the knowledge and skills necessary to live fulfilling lives. As a therapist, I strive to help my clients gain a deeper understanding of who they are, where they come from, what they want or need, and where they are going in life. Dealing with life's challenges can be scary and daunting at times. It is normal to be apprehensive or have fears regarding therapy. You are not alone! We are in this together. I look forward to joining you on this journey!
