Introduction

Rob Riechel is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and holds a Masters degree in Mental Health Counseling from St. John Fisher College in Rochester, NY. He graduated with his Bachelor's in Psychology from Keuka College in Keuka Park, NY. His previous experience includes working for several non-profit agencies providing individual, couples, group, and family counseling in both inpatient as well as outpatient settings. As a Therapist, he uses a relational, strengths-based and trauma-informed approach, and incorporates mindfulness, creativity and other therapies as appropriate for each individual. He has worked with clients who are navigating difficulties with anxiety, trauma, depression, separation, anger, stress, life change and more. Narrative therapy lies at the core of his practice, encompassing both individual journeys and shared stories within couples. By delving into the narratives we construct individually and together, we unearth the power to reshape these stories, acknowledging our shared experiences while honoring the uniqueness of each person. His approach is all about all about being yourself – no pretenses, no judgment and genuine connection. He has an empathic and genuine ability to connect with clients which allows him to work effectively with diverse populations from teens to adults. Feel free to explore, ask questions, and when you're ready, let's embark on this journey of self-discovery, healing and growth. Because healing comes in many forms.
