I am a National Certified Counselor. I have a bachelor’s in Psychology and Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Antioch University, New England. My experience includes working in different settings such as private practice, community, and school-based settings working with individuals, couples and groups from different cultures and backgrounds dealing with depression, anxiety, low self-esteem, relationship issues, trauma and grief and loss. I use person centered approach, cognitive behavior therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, and solution focused. I believe the therapeutic relationship is especially important and use empathy and compassion to create a space for my clients to feel safe and comfortable. My goal is to let my clients discover things within themselves and learn new skills to be able to walk towards healing and healthier lifestyle.
